Can I put a product or animal on hold?
We can and do place holds on animals or products!
In order to place a hold on an animal/product we MUST receive an agreed upon deposit for the requsted animal/product. Holds will not be considered without a deposit having been recieved.
With a received deposit, we are able to hold the animal/product for a maximum of 6 weeks in order to give an appropriate amount of time for the animal to be shipped during times of extreme seasonal temperatures or for the customer to prepare a proper and suitable environment for their new animal/s.
In the event that an agreed upon deposit has not been received, Crawlarium Canada reserves the right to maintain a "first come first serve" policy with our customers in regards to ALL livestock and product.
This is only fair and out of respect to ALL of our valued consumers.
All deposits are NON refundable, unless under the circumstance that we are unable to fulfill a delivery/shipping agreement on our end due to weather or other unforseen events. In these situations a full refund will be issued without prejudice.
Do you have a guarantee on your animals and products?
Yes, we have a limited guarantee on our livestock for 7 days after you receive your new animal/s from the time of pick up, delivery or shipping.
*Please Note:
Due to their sensitive nature, and how quickly things can go wrong with tarantula slings due to improper care, we do not guarentee any slings 1" and under.
We also guarantee products eligible for shipping will arrive safely to your front door.
The 7 day health guarantee is valid, provided the animal/s has been promptly recieved/brought to its new home, housed in an appropriate environment and cared for in an appropriate and recommended manner.
In the rare event that your new animal/s have any health issues, or expire within the 7 day time frame, we will offer a replacement or one of equal value. In the absence of an available replacement, a full refund will be issued without prejudice.
What is your shipping policy?
We offer shipping of live animals on a weekly basis during the more temperate months. Product can be shipped year round.
We use Reptile Runner/Fed Ex for all of our cross Canada wide shipping. All livestock orders go out Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure safe timely delivery. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
During the colder and hottest months, we do offer live shipping, though it is at our full discretion as to when shipments go out. This is for the wellbeing and safety of the animlas as well as to protect our customers' financial investments.
All outgoing livestock shipments are put on hold when night temperatures, whether in the region of departure or region being received, falls below -10 degrees Celsius.
Like wise, during the hottest days of summer when day time highs reach 32 degrees Celsius or higher, we will also postpone outgoing shipments until safer temperatures have returned.
Mortality rates become very high once these extreme temperatures are reached and we will not risk the safety of livestock under any circumstances.
In the VERY rare event that your animal/s or product do not ship well and are received as DOA or damaged, you have 24 hours from the time of recieving them to contact us via email or phone to report the loss/damage.
Photos of the deceased/damaged will be requested to confirm and preserve the 7 day health and product quality guarantee.
In these rare circumstances, a replacement will be offered, or one of equal value. In the event that a replacement can not be made available, you will receive a full refund for the animal/product without prejudice.
Crawlarium Canada does NOT cover shipping costs and all charges related to shipping are the sole responsibility of the consumer. Thus shipping charges are NON refundable and are NOT covered for ANY replacements to be re-shipped.
